The Abingdon Square Conservancy’s 17th Annual Halloween Pumpkin Patch was a rip-roaring success on an unusually balmy October evening. Pumpkins from D’Agostino’s, and more carved and brought from your homes, appeared throughout the evening, decorating the Square’s lawn to everyone’s delight. Hudson River Flowers‘ spooky and beautiful display was the perfect backdrop. So many cameras clicked away! Your artistic carving skills were as impressive as your creative costumes. Kids and adults alike enjoyed trick-or-treating courtesy of Li-Lac Chocolate and even more candy donated by our neighbors. Music by Peter Lewy added to the festive mood.
