8th Annual Holiday Tree Lighting

The crowds swelled quickly, hot cocoa flowed, cookies were snatched up and robust caroling filled the air. Happy surprise greeted a table laden with toys and wearable lights; a thank you from HBO for West Villagers’ help and courtesy when they were filming in the neighborhood. The Christmas tree was lit to cheers and wild applause. Santa cast his magic spell on hundreds of children. We have so many reasons to celebrate. Most importantly, the ASC opened the Square's gates and our hearts—showcasing what community is all about in the West Village.
